Before the workshop, participants shared a roast duck lunch together, enjoying conversation and friendship as they prepared for an afternoon of creativity. The floral arrangements featured festive red flowers and evergreen branches, capturing the colors and beauty of the season.

One participant brought bright red berries from a Christmas plant growing in her own garden, adding a personal and meaningful touch to the arrangements. As Christmas music filled the room, participants created festive designs while sharing stories, laughter, and holiday traditions.

Using elegant campanula (bellflowers) and the less commonly seen Italian statice, participants explored color, texture, and movement while designing festive floral arrangements. The unique combination of flowers inspired a variety of creative interpretations, each reflecting the individual style of its creator.

As the holidays approached, participants gathered not only to learn floral design techniques but also to find inspiration for decorating their homes and celebrating the season with family and friends.

On October 12, 2024, Bloom Together Arts Foundation hosted a floral design gathering that brought together people through a shared love of flowers, art, and learning.

Among the attendees were two classmates who had studied video production and editing alongside founder Hongyin Zhang. Another participant traveled from Elk Grove to join the workshop, demonstrating the strong connections that can grow through shared interests and creative communities.

Before the floral design session, participants enjoyed lunch together, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Conversations flowed naturally from flowers and floral design to art, creativity, learning, and future aspirations. The gathering became an opportunity not only to create beautiful arrangements, but also to reconnect with old friends and build new friendships.

Celebrating Mother's Day Through Flowers

On May 11, 2024, Bloom Together Arts Foundation celebrated Mother's Day with a floral design workshop in Newark, welcoming more than 30 participants for a joyful afternoon of creativity and community.

Families and friends gathered to celebrate the occasion through flowers. Several participants generously prepared homemade food to share, while others brought flowers from their own gardens, adding a personal touch and making each floral arrangement even more unique.
